Custom Golf Club Fitting in Wales
Avoda Precision Fit Certified fitters are coming soon in Wales. Until a local fitter is listed, this page explains how Avoda golf club fitting works: player-led tests of lie angle, shaft profile, grip size and set type, so your clubs are built to how you move.
How Avoda golf club fitting works
An Avoda golf fitting is player-led and fitter-guided. With a certified fitter, you test lie angle, shaft profile, grip size and set type at both extremes on real shots. You feel the differences and choose the specifications that suit your movement. Custom fit golf clubs are then built to those specifications.
Fitting types in Wales
One component at a time, so you feel why each change works.
-
Custom clubs fitting in Wales
Most fittings fit you to the ball flight. We fit you to your swing: you test every component and feel why it works, so you leave with a custom set of Avoda clubs built for how you move, not specs you were handed.
-
Iron fitting in Wales
We fit your irons to how you actually move. Lie, length, shaft and grip are tested one at a time, so you feel why each works and leave with a set built for your swing, not specs off a chart.
-
Wedge fitting in Wales
Most players carry a low-bounce wedge built for the flop shot, then fight the turf on every approach. We match the sole to how you deliver the club and the conditions you play, so you control distance and stop fearing the ground.
-
Grip fitting in Wales
Grip size changes wrist angles, face control and even swing path. Too small and you shut the face early; too big and you fight rotation. We fit by matching grip surface to your hand, not guesswork.
-
Club shaft fitting in Wales
A shaft is more than its flex or weight. What matters is where it bends and how that suits your tempo. The right profile lets the face arrive on time, so you don't have to change your swing to make the club work.
-
Lie angle fitting in Wales
The single most important spec in the club. Get it wrong and you compensate on every swing just to find the face. We start neutral, test both extremes and let your contact tell us the angle that lets you swing freely.
